My comments on the work plan are presented <br /> below. <br /> 1. The detection limit of 5.0 mg/kg for total extractable petroleum hydrocarbons in soil is too high.The <br /> practical quantitation limit of the Board's contract laboratory is 0.3 mglkg. Your laboratory should <br /> be able to detect to that level. <br /> 2. Destmcdon of monitoring well(MW) 5 should comply with all local and state roquireTnents, <br /> 3. The two new MWr, and the existing MWS should have the same reference point. It may be a gooa <br /> idea to resurvey the existing wells to ascertain the uccuracy of their elevations. <br /> 4.
