Kasey Foley [EH]
From: Meeks, Steven@Waterboards <Steven.Meeks@waterboards.ca.gov >
Sent: Thursday, October 12, 2017 4:29 PM
To: Alvaro Garza [PHS]; Mimi Duzenski [MH]
Cc: Kasey Foley [EH]; Djuth, Gerald@Waterboards; McCrink, Marie@Waterboards; Black,
Stewart@Waterboards; Lancaster, David@Waterboards
Subject: FW: Tri-Ag Services Prop 65 Notification
Attachments: Tri-Ag Domestic Well Sampling Report.pdf
Follow Up Flag: Follow up
Flag Status: Flagged
This email is being sent as part of the notification requirements of Proposition 65. Today, I was made aware of
groundwater analytical results from a domestic well sampling event that occurred at 2112 South Main Street, Manteca
CA 95337. A groundwater sample result showed an exceedance of 1,2,3-Trichloropropane (TCP) at 0.150 ug/L, which is
above the MCL of 0.005 ug/L . This also exceeds the proposition 65 - one in 100,000 risk factor. In addition, the nitrates
measured as nitrogen at 25.8 mg/L exceeded the respective MCL value of 10 mg/L. Attached is the analytical results
report for the sampling event.
The probable discharger is Tri-Ag Services, which is located at the same address as the well.
A formal proposition 65 notification letter will follow via US mail.
If you have any concerns regarding this email please contact me. If you have any technical questions with regard the
sampling event, please contact Mark Bare at (916)464-4820 or by email at Mark.Bare@waterboards.ca.gov . Mark is
the case manager for the Site.
Thank you,
Steve
Steven W. Meeks, P.E.
