PROTECTION <br />Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br />11 May 2012 <br />L&M Group <br />do Mr. Dan Schreiner <br />Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. <br />3017 Kilgore Road, Suite 100 <br />Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 <br />REVISED MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM, L&M OPERABLE UNIT, SAN <br />JOAQUIN COUNTY <br />The L&M Group (Group) is monitoring groundwater at the L&M Operable Unit under Monitoring <br />and Reporting Program (MRP) No. R5-2004-0820 due to a release of Total Petroleum <br />Hydrocarbons (TPH) and various other contaminants. In a meeting on 8 August 2011, the <br />Group requested a revision to the existing MRP. Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br />Board (Central Valley Water Board) staff revised the MRP based on that meeting and <br />subsequent discussions. <br />After review of the historical groundwater data, Central Valley Water Board staff concur that the <br />monitoring frequency can be revised as shown in the table below: <br />Quarterly Semi-annually Annually <br />MW-9, 16-20, 42, 43, 46-52, MW-21, 22, 31, 56, 58, 61 MW-23-28, 34, 35, 44, 45 <br />54, 55, 57, 59, 60, 62-74, <br />2AMW-12-14 <br />Revised MRP No. R5-2012-0805 is now in effect. The next required quarterly report is due 1 <br />August 2012. A copy of the new MRP is included for your records.
