The following is a brief summary of the
action items that evolved out of our meeting yesterday.
AGE will submit a Work Plan Addendum or (Work Plans) for the following:
Installation of "in-fill" or "in-board" wells to continue assessment of impacted ground water. These wells will
include one to be installed near the northeast corner of the "Arroyo's" site (pending approval from the property owner).
Advancement and sampling of a "transect" of CPT borings in a generally north-south direction, west-southwest of the
subject site.
Vertical definition of impacts in the source area (on-site).
Soil vapor intrusion sampling/evaluation, particularly along south side of property.
After the CPT results have been evaluated, we will determine the number and locations of additional monitoring wells
in a generally down-gradient direction.
Also: I researched the identification of other possible sources; evidently, quite some time ago, we did some historical
research in the area of the site to determine if there were any additional sources (e.g. old gas stations). There are no
Sanborn Fire Insurance maps available for the area and a directory search did not turn up anything pertinent. It was
quite some time ago, which is why I could not recall the research. Additionally, we did a visual reconnaissance of the
surrounding area and could not identify any other possible sources within the area of concern.
If I have missed something, please let me know. Thanks again for your time and effort.
Sincerely,
Robert E.
