20 December 2011
AGE-NC Project No. 02-0926
since the previous monitoring event. Trends analyses indicate increasing trends in
constituent concentrations over time (Appendix E).
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the conclusions presented in this report, AGE recommends continuation of
reduced ground water monitoring. A new semi-annual modified sampling schedule
commenced during the first quarter 2011 (summarized in Appendix B); the next sampling
even will take place in January 2012. AGE recommends to discontinue sampling well
MW-4, as the well site is non-detect for petroleum hydrocarbons.
Performance of an in-situ air sparging pilot test was proposed and approved by the EHD
letter dated 31 October 2011. Based on the current ground water data, performance of the
pilot test should be scheduled for the fourth quarter 2011.
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily
exercised by environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. Findings were
based upon field measurements and analytical results provided by an independent
laboratory. Evaluation of the hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this
investigation are made from a limited number of available data points (i.e. ground water
samples), and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points. No other
warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional interpretations, opinions,
and recommendations contained in this report.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
