(AGE) has prepared
this report documenting the performance of a 24-hour soil vapor extraction (SVE) rebound
test for the site located at 821 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California. The site location
is depicted in Figure 1; site structures and former well locations are depicted in Figure 2.
INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND
Between 28 December 2010 and 22 August 2011, an SVE remediation system was
operated at the site. On 04 February 2011 the natural gas-fired, thermal oxidizer SVE
system was removed from the site and replaced with a granular activated carbon (GAC)
adsorption vessels SVE system to continuously apply an induced vacuum to well VW-1.
SVE procedures for the site were described in AGE-prepared Interim Remedial Action
Work Plan (dated 14 September 2009) and Interim Remedial Action Work Plan Addendum
(dated 10 February 2010), and approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department (SJCEHD) by letter dated 08 October 2009.
Based on SVE vapor remediation data collected between 06 June and August 2011 a total
of 1,321 gallons or 8,258 pounds of hydrocarbons as gasoline have been extracted since
startup of the soil vapor extraction system.
On 22 August 2011 the onsite SVE system was temporarily shut down for the performance
of a SVE rebound response test. The system was restarted for a period of 24-hours on
19 October 2011 and subsequently sampled on 20 October 2011 as part of the SVE
rebound test.
" `,111.1\\ k J •ttkiii.
I CICI)11011,' 12.1 P)1 1111 /1, • 1
