Ozone Remediation - Pilot Test Work Plan
San Joaquin County Public Works, Stockton, CA
June 15,2015
Page 5
time. Before and during the ozone remediation pilot test, the groundwater samples collected during the
regular monitoring schedule will also be analyzed for arsenic and chromium by EPA Method
E200.7/6010 and for hexavalent chromium by EPA Method E218.6; each sample collected in one 250
milliliter plastic container with nitric acid preservative and a 180 day hold time. The soil samples will be
analyzed for hydrocarbons using the same methods and for LUFT 5 Metals by EPA 7000 Series Methods
to characterize the soil for disposal.
5.0 REPORTING
Condor will prepare a report detailing the installation of the ozone injection wells, and the installation and
startup of the ozone injection system, to be submitted to the SJCEHD and the California Regional Water
Quality Control Board (CRWQCB). The report will include a discussion of the field procedures, geologic
logs of the well borings, and a discussion of the installation and startup of the ozone injection system.
Condor will also submit the report in electronic format to GeoTracker.
6.0 SCHEDULE
Condor will begin soliciting bids for the ozone generator and the installation of the ozone injection wells
upon approval of this work plan by SJCEHD. Condor anticipates that property manager budget
constraints will allow for the installation of the ozone injection wells within the 2015/2016 fiscal year.
However, installation and startup of the equipment may not be practical until the 2016/2017 fiscal year.
Semi-Annual monitoring will continue to be performed.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please call Bill Cook at (209) 938-1044.
Respectfully submitted,
CONDOR EARTH TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
cede_
Bill A.
