Sampling
locations should be based on odor and PID readings observed during ozone
injection well installation.
Preparation of at least two geologic cross sections oriented parallel to and
perpendicular to the groundwater flow direction showing subsurface lithology,
depth to water, and chemical data.
The inclusion of locations, size, and fuel types of both of the existing USTs, and
associated piping, on Site map figures.
By 30 October 2016, please submit an NOI Addendum, to serve as an application to
operate under General Order R5-2015-0012, which includes:
A Monitoring and Reporting Plan which designates background, treatment,
transition, and compliance zone wells and applicable sampling analytes and
frequency.
A Contingency Plan with background analytical data for arsenic, total chromium,
hexavalent chromium, bromide, and total dissolved solids and calculated Action
Levels. This Plan shall commit to specific actions that will be taken within a
relatively short period of time, to address exceedances above Action Levels
observed in the compliance zone wells
Supplemental information outlined in Attachment 1 of the General Order.
A fee check in the amount of $4699.00.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding comments in this letter please contact me by
phone at (916) 464-4615 or by email at alan.buehler@waterboards.ca.gov .
Alan M.
