Connell Motors Work Plan Comment page 2
2211 N. Wilson Way, Stockton.
MW-1D &10D may be installed as proposed if;
1 CPT lithological data verifies a permeable hydrological unit
exists at the depth proposed and,
If CPT chemical data indicates that contaminated permeable
units OTHER THAN the 95'-100' bgs unit that will require an
additional and separate monitoring well are NOT present and,
If it can be shown that the installation of four (4) or more
separate or dual-cased, 1"or 2"-PVC casing monitoring wells
are more cost-effective than installing a single, multi-
chambered, polyethylene casing monitoring well that is
capable of providing up to seven separate screened intervals
(depths) in a single bore hole.
Selected soil samples and new monitoring well groundwater
samples shall be additionally sampled for total lead, methanol, and
ethanol. Two consecutive 'non-detect' quarterly groundwater-
sampling events at acceptable QA/QC and detection limits could
qualify a well for discontinuing that analysis, if requested.
REASONS FOR DISAPPROVAL OF THE WORK PLAN [H&S 25299.37,
subd(c)(3)]:
None.
DATED: December 12, 2002.
