An AEMC geologist
returned to the site to supervise the removal of two additional backhoe buckets of
soil from the south end of the excavation. Sample CS-2B-S was hand driven at
about 4 feet, capped with Teflon, plastic end caps and sealed with electrical tape
then stored on ice for transport to AEMC's laboratory for analyses. Table 1 shows
the summarized results of the lab analyses. It appears we have removed all the
contaminated soil from the excavation.
The contaminated soil is currently stored onsite in two polyethylene lined disposal
bins. AEMC will submit a supplementary to this report verifying removal of the soil
to a licensed waste facility.
The excavation will be backfilled with the San Joaquin Local Health District's
approval of this report.
Ilbe-07 Page 5
