This letter is written to inform you of the <br />project's current status. <br />The City of Stockton had required that landscaping be <br />installed within the final cap of the asbestos site, since it would <br />be also used as a park and ride lot. The City has waived that <br />requirement pursuant to letter dated April 16, 1991 (see attached). <br />The City returned to us a set of plans with comments on April 10, <br />1991, and we returned those plans with revisions on April 17, 1991. <br />The City states that they should be ready to sign the plans in a <br />few days. Upon receipt of the City's approval we will be prepared <br />to put the project out to bid and commence with construction <br />immediately thereafter. We hope this letter fulfills the <br />requirements of the EPA Order No. 89-90 as amended. <br />Should you have any questions or require additional <br />information, please do not hesitate to contact us. <br />Sincerely, <br />Thomas J.
