Box 315 <br />Bodega Bay, CA 94923 <br />WELL DESTRUCTION, GEORGE'S SERVICE STATION, 1680 WEST DURHAM FERRY <br />ROAD, TRACY, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CASE# 390375 <br />Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Valley Water Board) staff <br />received the Public Notice Fact Sheet (Fact Sheet) on 15 May 2017, submitted on your <br />behalf by Ground Zero Analysis Inc. (GZA) for the George's Service property located at <br />1680 West Durham Ferry Road in Tracy (Site). GZA distributed copies of the Fact Sheet <br />to nearby property owners/tenants as of 15 May 2017, with a listed public comment period <br />from 22 May to 24 July 2017. <br />As Central Valley Water Board staff received no comments during the comment period, <br />staff request that you destroy any and all remaining Site monitoring and remedial wells <br />and remove any associated Site waste. San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department (SJCEHD) maintains jurisdictional authority over well destructions in San <br />Joaquin County, so please ensure that you obtain all necessary permits and <br />authorizations from SJCEHD prior to destroying the Site wells. <br />By 24 November 2017, please submit a Well Destruction and Waste Removal Report. <br />Please include copies of waste manifests for all removed waste. <br />Subsequent to receipt and review of the requested Report, Central Valley Water Board <br />staff will issue a No Further Action Required directive and close the case. <br />If you have any questions or concerns regarding comments in this letter please contact <br />the undersigned at (916) 464-4615 or by email at alan.buehler@waterboards.ca.gov. <br />Alan M.
