HAZELTON AVENUE <br />STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA 95201 <br />(209) 468-3000 FAX (209) 468-2999 <br />www.sjgov.org/pubworks <br />RECEIVED <br />NOV 12 2013 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br />PERMIT/SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: FOURTH QUARTER 2013 LANDFILL GAS MONITORING AT THE HARNEY <br />LANE SANITARY LANDFILL <br />Dear Mr. McClellon: 0 <br />CX I <br />Enclosed, please find the results of the Fourth quarter perimeter migration monitoring at the <br />Harney Lane Sanitary Landfill, and the buildings at the Farm Labor Camp site immediately next to <br />the landfill, completed on October 24, 2013. <br />We are pleased to report that combustible gas concentrations at all monitoring locations at the <br />Harney Lane Sanitary Landfill were below regulatory limits at the time of monitoring. <br />Measurements were taken with the newly improved monitoring probes. <br />All perimeter migration monitoring probes were below the regulatory limit of 5%. The highest <br />concentration (2.2%) was found at probe GW -11 -Deep. We continue to see this concentration <br />decreasing due to the improvements made to landfill gas collection in August and September of <br />this year.
