Things went very well today. Ardel and I were able to complete
installation of the tubes inside of the PVC pipes at the Soil Gas Monitoring wells 1 through 10. The sampling
points at well 10 were adjusted to allow for the lid to fit completely over the housing.
It is planned that Ardel and I will return on Thursday morning to complete the last two wells (11 and 12) and to
complete the quarterly monitoring of the farm labor camp buildings. I will advise via email once the project is
complete, which should be early afternoon on Thursday so that you can complete the service paperwork.
As you and I had discussed, weather permitting, it is possible to begin work again in mid May at the North
County Landfill. With the number of monitoring wells involved, North County should take two working days to
complete. This would include the monitoring and recording of data from the Soil Gas wells.
I will advise you by Thursday, May 10, 2012 as to the schedule for both North County and Foothill Landfills.
Brian C.
