• Mineral Spirits are ignitable <br />• This is our determination until we can confirm with lab results <br />• Used Mineral Spirits can be recycled, thus are exempted from certain requirements. If not recycled, them they are a hazardous waste. <br />Always ground and bond when dispensing ignitable materials <br />• A satellite container can be used. -label the container "Mineral Spirits — Flammable, Toxic" or place Hazcom label. <br />• RCRA Empty Containers can be recycled, repurposed, or landfilled. <br />IF RECYCLING: <br />• Transfer to Accumulation area and store appropriately for flammable materials. <br />• Label the container "Used Mineral Spirits — Recyclable; Flammable, Toxic <br />• Log the qty and contents. <br />Transport waste to an approved solvent recycler <br />• IF NOT RECYCLING: <br />• When the container or its contents are transferred to the accumulation area, add a Hazardous Waste Label like the one pictured.
