Following the shallow soil sampling <br />near IW-5, vertical assessment of downgradient groundwater impact, soil gas <br />sampling, and Contingency Plan groundwater sampling, Central Valley Water Board <br />staff request that you conduct an assessment of continued remediation at the Site <br />and recommend alternate approaches to address residual petroleum hydrocarbons at <br />the Site. <br />In summary, Central Valley Water Board staff request the following: <br />By 21 July 2017, please submit a Work Plan Addendum which includes: <br />o A proposal for the installation and sampling a soil gas well near the northeast <br />corner of the southern "shop" building. <br />Cease hydrogen peroxide injection until further notice. <br />Collect two (2) monthly Contingency Plan samples from treatment, transition, <br />compliance, and background zone wells during May and June 2017. <br />By 30 July 2017, please submit a Groundwater Monitoring Report, which includes the <br />results of the Contingency Plan sampling. <br />If you have any questions or concerns regarding comments in this letter please call me at <br />(916) 464-4615 or contact me by email at alan.buehler@waterboards.ca.gov. <br />Alan M.
