San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br />October 27, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />The following activities will be performed. <br />Prefield Activities <br />Obtain drilling permit from San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. <br />Notify Underground Service Alert (USA). <br />Exploratory Drilling <br />Mobilize drill rig and support equipment. <br />Drill the exploratory borehole using the following procedures: <br />Advance a 7-inch diameter bit with 6 3/4-inch diameter casing using a sonic drill <br />rig to the total borehole depth of 125 feet. <br />Collect soil sample(s) for physical properties testing or laboratory analysis for <br />volatile organic compounds. <br />Abandon borehole by installing neat cement through drill casing.
