Extraction Well EW-7 Construction Details <br />Borehole Well Screened Annular Materials, feet bgs <br />Date Depth Depth, Well Diameter Interval, Filter Bentonite <br />Well Installed feet feet and Materials feet bgs Pack Seal Cement <br />EW-7 4/8/2016 135 125 <br />6" PVC casing <br />6" steel screen 80-120 75-135 73-75 0-73 <br />The following well destruction activities will be performed. <br />Prefield Activities <br />Obtain well destruction permit from San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department. <br />Notify Underground Service Alert (USA). <br />Well Destruction <br />Mobilize drill rig and support equipment. <br />Remove any existing downhole equipment. <br />Overdrill the well using the following procedures: <br />Advance a 12-inch diameter bit with 10-inch diameter casing using a sonic drill <br />rig to the total borehole depth of 135 feet. <br />Remove existing well casing/screen and annular materials. <br />Measure the borehole depth to verify that all materials have been removed. <br />Install neat cement through drill casing and remove drill casing. <br />The investigation-derived waste (IDW) materials generated during well destruction, <br />which will include well materials, soil cuttings, groundwater, and decontamination <br />water, will be containerized and characterized for proper disposal. <br />Report Preparation <br />Prepare and submit a letter report that documents the completion of the extraction <br />well destruction and IDW disposal.
