No material to be stockpiled in street or sidewalk. Use of private property shall <br />be only at permission of property owner. <br />Traffic control for work within the public right-of-way, including overhead <br />operations, shall comply with Caltrans Traffic Control Manual, current issue. <br />Public Streets to remain open at all times. Precautionary measures shall be taken <br />with construction vehicles and equipment that may create sign-obstruction for <br />traveling public. One-way traffic requires flaggers present at all times. <br />If scope of work involves full street closures, detour plan requires submittal to <br />Traffic Division, Public Works Dept. 333-6706, for approval. <br />Notify Municipal Service Center, Rich Lenfestey, 333-6740, regarding damaged <br />or destroyed public water and sewer services and mains; <br />Boring operations shall require interior video inspection of City underground <br />facilities crossed by the new installation provided by the applicant at no cost to <br />the City. Copies of the video tapes will be provided to the City. All potholing to <br />be kept at a minimum. <br />All work related utility markings shall be properly removed. Contact Public <br />Works Inspector for removal information. Necessary work performed by City <br />forces as a result of failure of proper removal shall be billed; <br />Access to adjacent driveways to be maintained; <br />Sedimentation on pavement shall be removed within 24 hours. Street pavement <br />to be kept in a clean and neat manner. <br />No obstruction of fire hydrants; <br />Proper notification of proprietors/residents required prior to start of construction; <br />access to driveways to be maintained. Applicant shall not disrupt refuse service; <br />coordination of work schedule with refuse service is required. <br />Landscaped areas and sprinkler systems disturbed to be returned to a like or better <br />condition. <br />New gas mains shall be located along same alignment as existing gas mains. No <br />offsets are allowed; <br />Existing gas mains to be abandoned/deactivated shall be removed or new mains <br />shall be installed below existing mains to be abandoned/deactivated in place; <br />If trenchless methods are to be used, a Trenchless Installation Plan shall be <br />submitted at least 14 days prior to anticipated start of work. Plan shall include <br />information reflecting existing utility locations, pot-holing, information (including <br />measurements to the top of existing pipelines etc.) <br />As builts shall be provided to the Public Works Department at completion of <br />work; <br />All work and work related activity is to be accomplished in compliance within the <br />terms of the NPDES guidelines and PM-10 dust control requirements.
