Mr. Alan Buehler, P.G., RWQCB <br /> May 16, 2017 <br />Work Plan for Additional Site Investigation Project No. 2092-2057-01 <br />2057 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, CA <br />Page 4 <br />Collect depth discrete groundwater samples adjacent to boring CPT-2, which was <br />advanced in 2013, to assess changes in fuel contaminant changes over time. <br />Samples will be collected between 52 and 56 feet bgs, 77 and 80 feet bgs, 92 and 96 <br />feet bgs, 103 and 106 feet bgs, and 118 and 122 feet bgs. <br />Advance two soil borings (HA-1 and HA-2) onsite near the former waste oil tank <br />by hand augering (inaccessible to drilling machinery). <br />Collect soil samples from approximately 4 and 6 feet bgs from borings HA-1 and <br />HA-2. <br />Collect a background soil sample requested by the RWQCB (likely on the vacant <br />lot near boring CPT-3 or CPT-4); the sample will be collected from approximately <br />3 feet bgs. <br />The proposed scope of work has been subdivided into four tasks, as outlined below. <br />Details are provided for the activities associated with each task. All work will be <br />conducted under the direct supervision of a State of California Registered Geologist or <br />Civil Engineer and will be conducted in accordance with standards established by the <br />RWQCB in a document titled Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and <br />Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites, April 2004, and San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) guidelines. <br />Task 1: Pre-Field Activities <br />Following approval of this document by the RWQCB, the following activities will be <br />completed: <br />Obtain a right of entry agreement from the owner of the vacant lot (2154 South El <br />Dorado Street), <br />Obtain drilling permit(s) from SJCEHD, <br />Retain and schedule a licensed C-57 drilling contractor, <br />Update the Health and Safety Plan for the Site, <br />Mark drilling locations and contact Underground Service Alert (USA) to locate <br />underground utilities in the vicinity of the work site, and <br />Notify the RWQCB, SJCEHD and USA of the scheduled field activities. <br />10Quick N Save #2 \Work Plans\Q-N-S#2 work plan 2017.doc STRATUS
