HazeIton Avenue Stockton, California 95205 Subject: Well Destruction Work Plan GUARDINO AND CRAWFORD 517 West Fremont Street, Stockton, California Dear Mr. Kith: At the request of Dave Guardino of Guardino and Crawford Construction, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this work plan for the destruction of groundwater monitoring wells, remediation wells, and two semi-permanent soil-vapor wells at 517 West Fremont Street, Stockton, California (site). Eighteen (18) wells are located on-site; two (2) wells are located at the adjacent property to the west (525 West Fremont St); and two (2) wells are located in the City of Stockton Right of Way. All of the groundwater monitoring and remediation wells are single-completed with 2- or 4-inch diameter well casings; the soil-vapor wells are completed with vapor implants and 1/4-inch Teflon® tubing in a 3-inch diameter borehole. The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1. Structures, soil borings, and well locations are illustrated in Figure 2. Well construction details are summarized in Table 1. This work plan was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites and in accordance with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) Standards for Well Construction and Destruction. INTRODUCTION As part of the subsurface investigation and remediation of the former UST area the following wells were installed: Eight (8) groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-8). Wells MW-3 and MW-8 are located at 525 West Fremont St and wells MW-5 and MW-6 are located in the City of Stockton Right-of-Way.
