HazeIton Avenue <br />Stockton, California 95205 <br />Subject: Well Destruction Work Plan <br />GUARDINO AND CRAWFORD <br />517 West Fremont Street, Stockton, California <br />Dear Mr. Kith: <br />At the request of Dave Guardino of Guardino and Crawford Construction, Advanced <br />GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this work plan for the destruction of <br />groundwater monitoring wells, remediation wells, and two semi-permanent soil-vapor <br />wells at 517 West Fremont Street, Stockton, California (site). Eighteen (18) wells are <br />located on-site; two (2) wells are located at the adjacent property to the west (525 West <br />Fremont St); and two (2) wells are located in the City of Stockton Right of Way. All of the <br />groundwater monitoring and remediation wells are single-completed with 2- or 4-inch <br />diameter well casings; the soil-vapor wells are completed with vapor implants and 1/4-inch <br />Teflon® tubing in a 3-inch diameter borehole. The site and the surrounding area are <br />illustrated in Figure 1. Structures, soil borings, and well locations are illustrated in <br />Figure 2. Well construction details are summarized in Table 1. <br />This work plan was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank <br />(UST) sites and in accordance with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department (SJCEHD) Standards for Well Construction and Destruction. <br />INTRODUCTION <br />As part of the subsurface investigation and remediation of the former UST area the <br />following wells were installed: <br />Eight (8) groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-8).
