The location of the Subject Site is indicated in Figure 1. Samples are being <br />collected for due diligence as part of a potential property transaction. The property is currently owned <br />by Mr. Lee Kinder of Sierra Chemical Company; Thatcher is the current lessee on the Subject Site. <br />OBJECTIVES <br />The objectives of this limited Phase II ESA is to conduct groundwater sampling activities in order to <br />determine if the property has been impacted by past site activities in support of a potential property <br />transaction. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />The proposed ESA activities consist of the following: <br />advancing five Hydropunch TM borings at the approximate locations indicated in Figure <br />2; <br />collecting a continuous soil core at one boring location to assess site lithology and <br />determine groundwater depth; <br />collecting a discrete groundwater sample from each boring location; <br />analytical testing of collected groundwater samples; <br />backfilling borings; and <br />preparing a report of findings. <br />3. WORK PLAN FOR ADDITIONAL ESA ACTIVITIES <br />McGinley proposes to advance five Hydropunch TM borings (B1 through B5) at the approximate <br />locations indicated in Figure 2.
