Brian W. Millman
Senior Geologist
California Professional Geolo
Daniel J. Villanueva
Senior Geologist
29 March 2018
AdvancedGeo
AGE Project No. 18-4345
Environmental
All soil-vapor samples will be labeled with sample ID, project name, date, time, and
samplers' initials. The samples will be logged on a chain-of-custody form, and placed into
dry containers. Subsequently, the soil-vapor sample will be delivered to a CDPH-certified
analytical laboratory for analysis of VOCs by EPA method TO-15.
EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION/WASTE MANAGEMENT
Prior to use, all non-disposable sampling tools used for sample collection will be
thoroughly rinsed with clean water after being washed with a solution of Alconox.
BORING ABANDONMENT
All soil borings will be permanently sealed to prevent vertical migration of potential
contaminants. Soil borings shall be abandoned by backfilling with cement grout from the
total depth to surface grade. The top three to six inches of the boring abandonments will
be completed flush to surface grade with concrete. The SJCEHD will be notified for grout
inspection at least 48 hours prior to conducting grouting procedures.
REPORTING
Reporting of the site assessment will include a description of work performed and the
results of all field sampling. Conclusions and recommendations will also be included in
the report. The report will be reviewed and signed by a California Professional Geologist.
If you have any questions or require further information, please contact our office at
(800) 511-9300.
Sincerely,
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
