SITE-SPECIFIC HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN FOR WELL INSTALLATIONS <br />Project Team Information <br />May 4, 2017 <br />8.0 Project Team Information <br />8.1 TRAINING <br />Site personnel will be trained and certified in hazardous waste operations and emergency <br />response as follows: <br />40-Hour HAZWOPER Training; <br />Annual 8-Hour Refresher [29 CFR 1910.120(e) (8)]; <br />First Aid/CPR Training; <br />Physical examination consistent with 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910.120 (and <br />8 California Code of Regulations (CCR) 5192, if applicable); <br />Supervisory 8-hour Training [29 CFR 1910.120(e) (4)] for the Site Manager/SHSO; and <br />Additional training specific to the job being performed (e.g., Fall Protection, Lock <br />Out/Tag Out, Hot Work, Confined Space, etc.). <br />Stantec Safety Requirements: <br />In addition to the above-mentioned trainings, Stantec personnel are required to have training in <br />our behavior-based safety program, ALLY. Stantec's ALLY system will be used to provide all <br />employees with a safe, healthy, loss-free workplace and prevent or reduce losses using <br />behavior-based tools and proven management techniques. These tools and techniques <br />include: Stop Work Authority, Hazard Assessment and Mitigation, Last Minute Risk Assessment <br />(LMRA), Job Safety Analyses, SAFE Observations, and reporting near losses and losses. <br />Other requirements include training in defensive driving. Respirator fit tests are required for <br />respirator use. <br />Client-Specific Safety Procedures: <br />Chevron requires Stantec and its subcontractors working on their sites to be trained in and use a <br />behavior based safety system.
