San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
12066.002.000
Mountain House Neighborhood A, Units 3 and 4
November 30, 2018
SOIL GAS CHARACTERIZATION REPORT
Page 3
Table A provides a summary of the sample concentrations and corresponding screening levels
for residential soil.
Quality Control/Data Validation
The leak check compound 1,1-difluoroethane was reported for three samples at concentrations
o ug/m3 , which is less than required 10 times the detection limit for the target analyte
(TPH-G). Ba ed on DTSC guidelines this verifies the data is valid.
C-US ION AND CONCLUSION
Review of the laboratory test results found detectable concentrations of total petroleum
hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline in 7 of the 10 discrete soil gas samples, and detectable
concentrations of several volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in various samples. All of the
reported concentrations were below the applicable residential screening levels.
Based on the findings of the soil gas assessment, the Property does not have significant soil gas
impacts and is suitable for residential use. No further environmental investigations are
recommended at this time.
If you have any questions regarding this report, please contact us.
Sincerely,
ENGEO Incorporated
No. HG 413
K fi Bonner Shawn Munger, CHG
Attachments: Figures
Table A — Summary of Analytical Results
Appendix A — Laboratory Analysis Report, Torrent Laboratories Inc.
