Each probe was a nested probe with 5' and 10' sampling points using 'A" tube.

2. Each probe was constructed as following:
The bore hole was 2"
Total depth: 10.5'
Sand to 9.5'
Bentonite to 5.5'
Sand to 4.5'
Bentonite to Surface

3. Each probe was allowed to sit for 2 to 7 hours before it was sampled.

4. Each probe was vacuumed for 15 min and 1 liter, whichever one took longer, before samples was collected. See
picture for the setup.

5. Mr. Bonner used Dust f-off for leak detection. Difluoroethane (DFE) would show up in the sample if leak was
detected. See picture for the setup.

6. Mr. Bonner only constructed Probe SG5 —SG9. See picture for location.
Probe SG8 and 9 were southwest of the power line. Probe SG5 —7 were northwest of the power line. SG7 was near an
exposed pipeline.
Probe SG5 and 6 were at 14' elevation near the 2 aboveground storage tanks.. The depth of those probes was not
adjusted for elevation.
If you have any questions please let me know.
Michael Kith, REHS
Program Coordinator
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
mkith@sicehd.com
Phone: (209) 468-3444
Fax: (209) 468-8392
