Discussion of Percolation Test Results
The soils on each proposed parcel of the Site have demonstrated satisfactory
percolation rates for the use of standard septic systems in accordance with the
requirements of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. These
percolation tests are considered representative of soils within an approximate 100-foot
radius of the test location.
Discussion of Septic System Sizing
Septic system construction utilizing leach lines with seepage pits should follow the San
Joaquin County On-Site Wastewater Treatment Systems Standards (2017) where
applicable. No new construction is anticipated.
Because of the percolation rates between 1.0 and 30.0 min/in encountered in several of
the test holes, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department will require 8-
foot or 20-foot separations from the bottom of the dispersal systems to ground water.
Based on the predicted depth to water of 110 to 118 feet, no modification to standard
systems should be necessary.
LOGE 2062 Page 9
