A!I unsalable damages collected on the sales floor that are defined as hazardous waste <br />must be sorted separately at the go back station, <br />• After sorting is completed, take tote labeled "Possible Hazardous Waste" to the <br />accumulation station. These items must be brought to the accumulation station at <br />least once a day. <br />2. Sort hazardous waste by category (AF, C -A, C -B, STQI! and Qx}, <br />3. The Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager will markdown the damages and take <br />care of the rest of the process. <br />Helium Safety Precautions <br />• Do not allow anyone to inhale helium from the filling equipment or from balloons. <br />o Rapid suffocation can take place by reducing the concentration of oxygen in <br />the air to support life. <br />o Inhaling directly from the filling equipment can also cause serious lung <br />damage. <br />• Do not allow children to touch the cylinder or to operate the balloon filing equipment, <br />• Secure the cylinder to prevent it from falling. <br />• Do not leave the cylinder unattended in a public area or where children or unauthorized <br />personnel can gain access. <br />• Never open the cylinder valve before attaching aballoon-filling regulator to it, <br />o Tighten the regulator connection to the cylinder valve with a wrench. <br />o Do not use leaky equipment. <br />• Do not store or use the cylinder in a closely confined or poorly ventilated area. <br />• Do not store or use the cylinder in hot areas (over 130'F) or near flames or <br />electrical <br />devices, <br />• Do not aftempt to transfer helium from one cylinder into another cylinder or container. <br />+ Shut off the cylinder valve after each use and when empty. <br />+ Remove the balloon filling regulator and replace the cylinder cap prior to returning the <br />cylinder to the supplier. <br />• If the cylinder cap is stuck or jammed, return the cylinder to the supplier. <br />.bA f <br />
