Training is required within 180 days <br />of hire and an annual refresher for all employees handling hazardous waste. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66265.16 Personnel Training <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train all employees who work with hazardous waste in compliance with the <br />time frames and training materials required by this section. Provide training documentation to the San Joaquin <br />County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. The documentation must include a list of training <br />topics, date of training, job title, name of employee, written job description (qualifications and duties), and employee <br />signed (or certified) record that documents the training. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork by June 5, 2021. <br />To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br />of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in -office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br />($152).
