All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH of the pool water is between 7.0-7.2 (borderline major violation). Maintain the pool water pH <br />between 7.2-7.8. <br />Pool tech added some liquid chlorine and soda ash. The pH was re-checked: 7.2 Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: The cyanuric acid of the pool water is greater than 100ppm. Maintain the pool water cyanuric acid less <br />than 100ppm. Correct ASAP (this may require draining some of the pool water). <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br /> #19 Depth Markers <br />OBSERVATIONS: Some of the depth markers on the pool deck are missing or peeling off. Replace missing and damage <br />depth markers ASAP. <br />Per pool tech, a bid has been submitted to replace the depth markers with tile depth markers. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Depth markers shall be clearly marked in the following locations: at maximum depth, at minimum depth, at <br />each end, on both sides at each end, at the slope break, and along the perimeter of the pool at distances not to exceed 25 feet. Depth <br />markers shall be 4 inches high in a contrasting color and be marked in units of feet and inches. For pool water depths 6 feet and <br />shallower, markers with universal "NO DIVING" symbol shall be installed on the deck directly adjacent to the depth markers.
