All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Address sign is not posted. Post sign today. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br />OBSERVATIONS: I observe multiple cracks all over the pool deck. Seal cracks in 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br />top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br />diving board, ADA device, or slide. (CBC 3114B) Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: I observe dirt at the bottom of the pool. Clean today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br />in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br />and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: One of the pool skimmers is lacking weir gate. Provide weir gate in 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br /> #38 Filter Cleaning and Maintenance <br />OBSERVATIONS: Difference between the Influent and Effluent PSI is more than 10 PSI. Back wash filter in 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All filters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 3123B) Pressure gauge <br />located on the filter shall be marked with the clean startup reading. (CBC 3125B) Each filter vessel shall be provided with valves so that it <br />can be isolated from the recirculation system for repairs and backwashing.
