Board of Supervisors -2- <br /> ENDORSEMENT OF SOLID WASTE <br /> GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY <br /> Lovelace Materials Recovery Facilit and Transfer Station: Litter abatement efforts <br /> will be extended along Lovelace Road from Airport Way to Union Road, along Airport Road <br /> from Lathrop Road to French Camp Road, and along Union Road from French Camp Road to <br /> a point approximately one mile south of Lovelace Road, where the unincorporated area ends. <br /> Fee waivers for illegally dumped refuse will be offered to property owners and operators along <br /> Lovelace Road, between Airport Way and Union Road. <br /> Foothill Sanita �Landfill: Bi-weekly litter abatement efforts will extend along Waverly Road from <br /> Flood Road to Shelton Road. Fee waivers for illegally dumped refuse will be offered to property <br /> owners and operators along Waverly Road, between Flood Road and Shelton Road. <br /> Eligible property owners will be informed about the fee waiver program by mail and asked to <br /> remit a signed affidavit, for themselves or their agents, acknowledging the material being <br /> disposed was illegally dumped on their property. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> Labor costs to the Solid Waste Enterprise Fund for the litter abatement and illegal dumping <br /> services are estimated to be $15,600 annually, utilizing C-Corps inmate crews to provide the bi- <br /> weekly litter clean-up. Disposal and recycling costs associated with the illegally dumped <br /> materials brought in by eligible residents from the immediate area are not expected to exceed <br /> $5,000 annually. Recycling costs will be paid from AB 939 fees and disposal fees will be <br /> absorbed by the Enterprise Fund. <br /> ACTION FOLLOWING APPROVAL: <br /> Upon endorsement by the Board of Supervisors, the Good Neighbor Policy will be immediately <br /> implemented, extending services along the described transportation routes. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> AAT.
