0 <br />San Joaquin County's Public Works Department prepared an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) <br />to address proposed revisions to the Solid Waste Facility Permit at the North County Recycling <br />Center and Sanitary Landfill (Figure 1) and to clarify the restriction of noise from the use of heavy <br />equipment landfill found in the EIR of 1988 (Reference 1), page 10-9. <br />The December 2006 EIR evaluated the impacts of the proposed changes in comparison to the <br />previous permit limits compared to the original landfill project.
