This morning I received a call from Mike Carroll letting me know that the County consultant <br /> (Shaw Environmental) has prepared the new cost estimate (requested by CIWMB to provide <br /> detailed cost estimates). The revised cost estimate will be submitted along with the revised <br /> JTD. Of note is that the new cost estimate (per Mike Carroll) appears to be twice the original <br /> cost estimate. <br /> 2. Also, I have just received a letter from RWQCB dated July 14, 2009 notifying the County that <br /> the September 2008 JTD is incomplete due to concern over design earthquake and the need for <br /> seismic deformation study. Furthermore, RWQCB is requesting the County to submit a revised <br /> report by August 12, 2009. 1 have asked Mike Carroll to provide us with a copy of the report as <br /> well when it is ready. <br /> Please let me know if you are interested in reviewing RWQCB's letter so that I could make copies for <br /> you.
