Violation Title 27 CCR 20690 - Alternate Daily Cover A manual tarp was used as ADC tocoverthe active <br />face from the previous day. Exposed solid waste was observed_ at multiple locations at the edge of tarps. <br />There were two holes in the tarps used as ADC. <br />a. Ensure all waste is completely covered daily. - - <br />b. Take measures to maintain tarps in good repair and adequately use them as ADC. <br />2. AC Title 27 CCR 20820 Drainage and Erosion Control - Erosion channels were observed on the <br />southeast corner of module 1, on the bottom of southwest corner of module ! and 2, and at the north <br />slope of module 1 and 2. No exposure of waste was observed. Most of the erosion channels observed <br />-lastriionth have been repaired . Continuation of ar AC from last month. <br />a. Repair the erosion channels to prevent future waste exposure. <br />b. Provide adequate erosion control. <br />2. AC Title 27 CCR 20870 -Hazardous Wastes -Observed waste oil on the top of 55 gal drum at the Used <br />Oil Recycling Area. <br />a. -Remove -oil from the -top -of 55 gal drum. <br />b. Provide additional training to raise level of handling and storing of hazardous wastes. <br />Notes:.. <br />A. The transfer station dust control misting system was in use during the inspection. Dust control in the <br />transfer station building was adequate. On April 22; 2008 the-EHD received a written plan/ <br />response for dust control from the Public Works. (Previous violation cleared). <br />B. Top of modules 1 and 2 was graded (Previous AC cleared). <br />C. The perimeter gas migration'wells were not monitored during the routine inspection. The gas meter is <br />in for service. <br />D. Records maintained and up to date. <br />- E.
