AC Title 27 CCR 20590 - Personnel Health and Safety - Observed one truck driver not wearing hard hat <br />and safety vest when he was out of his vehicle at the disposal area. <br />a. Ensure that all personnel working at disposal area wear safety equipment. <br />2. AC Title 27 CCR 17354 - Storage - Recycling bin in the green waste area for garbage only contained wood <br />waste. <br />a. Increase the number of bins if needed. <br />Notes: <br />A. The transfer station dust control misting system was in use during the inspection. Dust control at the <br />active face and in the transfer station building were adequate (Previous violation cleared). <br />B. Vegetation maintained at a minimum at module 1 and 2 areas (Previous AC cleared). <br />C. Measured two perimeter soil gas wells for methane concentration: SG -1= 0.2% (all three probes), <br />SG -2= 0.2% (all three probes). <br />D. The temperature of the green waste piles were 122 F and higher during several days. Recommend to <br />add one column to the temperature log to indicate actions taken to lower temperature. <br />E.
