AC Title 27 CCR 20870 - Hazardous Wastes - Uncapped wet battery is being stored on wood pallets. <br />a. Place open or damaged batteries in secondary containment and treat as Hazardous Waste. <br />b. Provide adequate storage of Hazardous Wastes. <br />2. AC Title 27 CCR 20750 - Site Maintenance - Ponding water was observed on the tipping floor at the <br />residential side of the transfer station building. <br />a. Provide more adequate site maintenance. <br />3. AC Title 27 CCR 20921--- Gas Monitoring and Control - OnSeptember15, 2008 San JoaquinCounty <br />Public Works submitted to the EHD the landfill gas monitoring plan. <br />The EHD will maintain an AC on the inspection report until the plan is approved by the <br />-EHD, concurred in by the CIWMB, and fully implemented. <br />Notes: <br />A. Tarps were completely covering the active face and were in good repair (Previous AC cleared). <br />B. Observed new anti -erosion mats on the western side of the module 4. New anti -erosion mats and <br />three-step hydro seed were placed on southwest -comer of module -1 and 2. <br />C. Measured two perimeter soil gas wells for methane concentration: SG -2= 0.0% (all three probes), <br />SG -3= 0.0% (all three probes). <br />D. Dust control inside in the transfer station building was adequate (Previous AC cleared). <br />E. The records at the green waste area were current and the new log form was used (Previous AC <br />cleared). <br />F. Approximately 100 birds (sea gals) observed at time of inspection.
