<br /> Comments:Ponding was observed on top of second winter pad.
<br /> Grade the area to promote lateral runoff of water and prevent future ponding.
<br /> -Grades shall be established to sufficient slopes to account for future settlement of the fill surface.
<br /> X 20870-Hazardous Wastes
<br /> Comments:Observed treated wood waste in the pile at the green waste area.
<br /> -Provide additional training to raise level of screening for hazardous wastes in the loads/piles.
<br /> -Need to more thoroughly check for and remove all designated/hazardous wastes in waste piles.
<br /> X 20921 -Gas Monitoring and Control
<br /> Comments:On September 15,2008 San Joaquin County Public Works submitted to the EHD the landfill gas monitoring plan.The EHD will
<br /> maintain an AC on the inspection report until the plan is approved by the EHD,concurred in by the CIWMB,and fully implemented.The
<br /> compliance date for the implementation of the approved plan is October 18,2009.

<br /> Notes:
<br /> A.On May 21,2009 a hose connection for the leachate infusion in module 3 broke.As a result,leachate spilled onto the top winter pad on module 3.
<br /> Staff repaired the hose at the same day and recorded information at the Special Occurrences Log.
<br /> B.Make available temperature log at the green waste area for inspection.
<br /> C.No ponding observed at the green waste area.
<br /> D.Tarps used as ADC to cover the active face from the previous day were repaired.
<br /> E.Vegetation at the entire site maintained at a minimum.
<br /> F.Measured two perimeter soil gas wells for methane concentration:SG-10=0%(all three probes),SG-1=0%(all three probes).
<br /> G.Records maintained and up to date.
