Comments Continued: <br />6. AC Title 14 CCR 17355 - Disposal - Observed waste tire in waste pile which was not separated out until <br />pointed out by LEA. <br />a. Waste tire may not be landfilled. <br />b. Ensure load - checking is done to prevent disposal of hazardous waste and prohibited waste. <br />Notes: <br />A. Erosion channels were repaired on north slope of module 1 (previous AC cleared). <br />B. Random Load Inspection Records were not fully completed. Be sure to fully document each working day <br />at Random Load Inspection Records. <br />C. Two soil gas wells (SG -1 and SG -2) had no identification for shallow,deep,and intermediate probes. <br />Identify each probe by installing signs and legend. <br />D. Eye wash station on west side at transfer station was not working properly. Repair eye wash station. <br />E. Reviewed incoming ,outgoing and temperature logs for the green waste. Records maintained and up to <br />date. <br />F. Conditions regarding daily cover at active face have improved (previous AC cleared). However, using <br />of the new tarp is recommended. <br />G. Recycling bin at the green waste area (east of module 4) were overloaded and had no sealed lid on it. <br />Increase the number of dumpsters if needed. Identify type of waste in each recycling bin by installing the <br />proper sign. <br />H. Measured several perimeter soil gas wells for methane concentration: SG -1=0% (all three probes), SG - <br />2=0% (all three probes),and SG -3=0% (all three probes). <br />I. All other AC cleared. <br />
