The project consists of the <br /> IS/MND for the construction of a 132-megawatt (MW) battery energy storage system <br /> (Project). The Project is located at 23670 E Flood Road, in Linden, CA (APN 093-100- <br /> 02, -04, -05, -16, and -24). <br /> The District offers the following comments: <br /> 1) Prosect Related Emissions <br /> At the federal level under the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), the <br /> District is designated as extreme nonattainment for the 8-hour ozone standards and <br /> serious nonattainment for the particulate matter less than 2.5 microns in size (PM2.5) <br /> standards.
