August 11, 2021
San Joaquin County
Community Development Dept.
1810 E. Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95205
Attn: Giuseppe Sanfilippo
Subject: PA-2000196 (SA)
Delit1 Batres, et al.
APN: 204-060-13
Dear Mr. Sanfilippo:
SOUTH SAN JOAQUIN
IRRIGATION DISTRICT
The South San Joaquin Irrigation District ("SSJID") has reviewed the application named above
and requests that the following conditions of approval be adopted for this development:
•Based upon review of the site plan, it appears that there is an SSJID irrigation pipeline,
Lateral "R", located within the proposed project. As such, we are requesting that
improvement plans be submitted to the District which provides specific details for
proposed improvements which may affect District facilities and operations. This plan
must be reviewed and approved by the District Engineering Department to determine the
extent of any necessary improvements to District facilities in accordance with District
policy. No building shall be allowed within District easement.
•Based on the site plan provided, it appears that a new concrete driveway is proposed to
cross the District's Lateral "R" pipeline. The District's facility is an old pipeline made of
unreinforced cast-in-place concrete and is inadequate for heavy equipment/vehicular
loading. At minimum, applicant shall be required to replace the District's pipeline with
Class IV Reinforced Rubber Gasketed Concrete Pipe (RGRCP) at the driveway location.
P.O. Box 747, Ripon, CA 95366-0747 (Mailing)
11011 E. Highway 120, Manteca, CA 95336-9750
(209)249-4600
