12172 N Hibbard Road Project No. 2021-00063 P a g e | 12
Table 7.
Summary of Percolation Test – June 25, 2021
Test No.,
Date Tested
Percolation
Test
Depth
(inches)
Percolation
Rate
(minutes/inch)
Test
Duration
Comments
(See notes)
12172 Hibbard Road
P-1 (shallow) 41 50 4-hour Satisfactory
Note: A satisfactory percolation rate for a “shallow” test is less than or equal to 60 minutes per inch and greater than or equal to 1
minute per inch.
The soil within the percolation test area for 12172 Hibbard Road demonstrated a satisfactory
percolation rate in accordance with the requirements of the EHD for the use of a standard septic
system.
9.0 SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY CONCLUSIONS
In summary, a percolation rate that meets the minimum EHD standards was achieved within the
proposed septic disposal area for the parcel located at 12172 Hibbard Road; the soil appears suitable
for the use of a standard septic system.
10.0 LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are established from the information provided regarding the proposed
and existing development and the site conditions as they existed at the time which we excavated our
test hole and performed the percolation test. It was assumed that the test hole and percolation test
result is representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area.
If there is a substantial amount of time between the submission of this study and commencement of
work at the site, or if conditions have changed due to construction activities or natural causes at or
adjacent to the site, we recommend that our report be reviewed to access the applicability of the
recommendations and conclusions with consideration regarding changed conditions and or lapse of
time. This report should not be used after 3 years without a review and update from our office.
Our professional services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed in
accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices. This warranty is in lieu of
all other warranties either expressed or implied. Test findings and statements of professional
opinion do not constitute a guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied.
