Description of All Wastes
Generated of Stored at Facility
The Crossroads Facility consists of industrial wastewater treatment and related disposal (grit
and sludge from the process). The 0.60 MGD permitted wastewater treatment facility treats on
an average daily basis 120,000 gallons of industrial wastewater. The MBR domestic wastewater
treatment plant at present is designed to have an annual average flow rate of 0.75 MGD with a
monthly maximum flow rate of 0.94 MGD. The complete MBR process consists of stages —
pretreatment (screenings) that will be TCLP'ed and landfilled; biological process tanks, and
membrane operating system. Each stage of the process is dependent upon the other, yet
independent enough to allow optimization in each.
The facility has reportable quantities of hazardous substance designated pursuant to Section
311 of the Clean Water Act:
• Calcium Hypochlorite 10lbs or greater
The facility also uses in the process in non -reportable quantities of hazardous substance
designated pursuant to Section 311 of the Clean Water Act:
• Sodium Hypochlorite < 100lbs (any quantities over the 100 lbs is reportable
quantities under Section 311 of the CWA)
