Response to Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act Program Inspection Report <br /> Finding 18—The empty 300 gallon blue Castro metal bulk bin found in the blue barn was disposed of on <br /> 5/27/11 (BOL with shipment date of 5/27/11 attached).The facility diagram information is being <br /> confirmed and updated with Bureau Veritas(consultants for SPCC plan.)We expect to have the final <br /> diagram by 7/15/11. <br /> Finding 23—The plan is being updated to include the appropriate methods for waste disposal.The plan <br /> will state that"oily absorbents shall be disposed of in bulk totes with other plant oily solids,and will be <br /> shipped out with the next pick up that occurs within 90 days. Recovered liquids shall be pumped into a <br /> 55 gallon drum, and will be labeled used oil. Recovered oil will be picked up for disposal within 90 days. <br /> Oily solids and liquid oil will be sent out as Non-Rcra Hazardous Waste to the disposal facility." <br /> Finding 24—The SPCC plan is being updated to include notification to the local CUPA during a discharge <br /> event.The SPCC plan currently includes the numbers for the following; facility response contractor, <br /> National Response Center,and cleanup contractor.We are confirming that all appropriate federal, state, <br /> and local agencies who must be contacted in the event of a discharge are included. <br />
