The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for CIRCLE K as of October 28 , 2021 . <br /> Open violations from July 15 , 2021 inspection <br /> Violation #113 - Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years . <br /> OBSERVATION : The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br /> years during the inspection . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE : The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years . <br /> This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding <br /> the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years , 2018 , 2019 and 2020 for all <br /> hazardous waste including contaminated liquids and contaminated solids . Provide these records and a corrective <br /> action statement to the EHD within 30 days . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #601 - Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days ( 90 days acute / extremely) . <br /> OBSERVATION : Four 55 gallon black steel drums of hazardous waste liquid was observed in the hazardous waste <br /> storage area with no accumulation start date. No disposal records were found on site or in state records . According <br /> to Manager Imelda Escalona the site has not had any hazardous waste disposal in the past several years . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE : Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262 . 34 . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations . Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br /> disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD) within 30 days . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
