Small temporary construction <br />dewatering projects are projects that discharge groundwater to land from excavation <br />activities or dewatering of underground utility vaults. Dewatering discharges are typically considered a low or limited threat to <br />water quality and may be covered under the General Order for Limited Threat <br />Discharges to Surface Water (Limited Threat General Order). A complete Notice of <br />Intent must be submitted to the Central Valley Water Board to obtain coverage under <br />the Limited Threat General Order.
