Box SOB <br />Sacramento, California 958'12-0806 <br />August 5, 2021 <br />Mr. Mohamad Ibrahim <br />Pick -N -Pull Auto Dismantlers <br />4223 Clark Drives, <br />Stockton, California 95215 <br />APPLIANCE RECYCLER CERTIFICATION <br />Dear Mr. Ibrahim: <br />The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has reviewed and approved your <br />application for Pick -N -Pull Auto Dismantlers, 4223 Clark Drive, Stockton, <br />California 95215 to be a Certified Appliance Recycler (CAR). Your CAR certificate, which is <br />valid for three years from the approval date, is enclosed. <br />After reviewing and approving a CAR application for conformance with section 25211 .4 <br />of the Health and Safety Code, DTSC is required to transmit all application documents <br />to the Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) in whose jurisdiction your business is <br />located. The CUPA is required to inspect your facility "as soon as is practicable" to <br />determine whether you are capable of properly removing and managing ail Materials <br />that Require Special Handling (MRSH) from major appliances (Health &Saf. Code <br />§ 25211.4(d)). The statute requires the CUPA to consider, among other things, the <br />working condition of your equipment, the technical ability of your employees, and your <br />facility's compliance with existing law <Health 8 Saf.
