Then take those corrective measures before <br />operation is resumed. <br />12. If parameters of step #9 and #11 are met, continue as follows. <br />13. Slide the general waste compartment door closed and lock it. <br />14. Upon completion of each cycle, record the following information onto the SaniPac Cycle <br />Inspection Log: <br />a. that a minimum of 250 F was maintained for a minimum of 30 minutes. <br />b. that the externally applied heat -sensitive tape has black stripes. <br />15. All logs and graphs are kept for a minimum of three years. <br />Important Things To Remember: <br />1. The seven-day time/temperature graph record must be changed every Wednesday. <br />2. The seven-day time/temperature graph record shall be kept for a minimum of three years. <br />3. Biological testing with Bacillus stearothermophilus shall be done weekly. Place the indicator in the <br />cradle and place it in the middle of the infectious waste load. Follow the standard operating procedures <br />to process the indicator. The results shall be recorded and kept a minimum of three years. In the case <br />of a positive result (growth), use of the San-i-pak sterilizer shall be discontinued until corrective <br />actions have been taken. <br />4. Temperature calibration of the unit will be done once per year; records of the calibration checks shall <br />be maintained a minimum of three years. <br />
