Consistent with this mission, <br />the Board of Directors, medical staff, and administration have established and provided <br />ongoing support for the Medical Waste Management Program. <br />The purpose of the Medical Waste Management Program is to define the program to identify <br />and manage materials known to have the potential to harm humans or the environment. The <br />plan includes processes designed to minimize the risk of harm. The processes include <br />education, procedures for safe use, storage and disposal, and management of spills and <br />exposures. <br />II Scope: <br />The Medical Waste Management Program is designed to address the risks of the variety of <br />substances addressed in this plan pose to the environment of Dameron Hospital Association <br />
