Inside the main drain sumps provide a vertical clearance of two times the pipe <br />diameter (20" in this case) between the top of the suction pipe and the bottom of <br />the main drain cover. Do this at each main drain. <br />2. Install minimum 5 foot tall approved fencing around the entire pool enclosure. If <br />chain link is to be used then the horizontal measurement of the fabric cannot <br />exceed 13/4 inches. Shown on revision 11-10-06. <br />3. Provide hot water at the showers capable of reaching a minimum of 110°F. <br />4. Restrooms shall be available to swimmers whenever the pool is being used. <br />The slope in the shallow end of the pool (area less than 4 %2 feet) shall have a <br />slope no greater than 1:10. The slope in all other areas of the pool greater than 4 <br />%2 feet shall be no greater than 1:3. <br />Any item(s) inadvertently overlooked on the plan check may be cause for re -construction <br />at the pool. This Department requires a pre-gunite (with plumbing exposed), pre -plaster, <br />and final inspection prior to approving pool to open.
